Q). Do I write a check or send cash for my envelopes?
A). No checks or cash will be accepted. DNA envelopes must be paid for via credit card.
Q). We have old envelopes from past Aksarben shows, can I use them?
A). Only Aksarben Stock Show envelopes with a barcode on the back will be accepted.
Q). Is this a family nomination system?
A). Yes! Immediate siblings (brothers and sisters) may be listed on the same envelope. Cousins, friends, neighbors CANNOT be listed on the same envelope.
Q). What happens if I miss the DNA deadline?
A). There will be no late DNA envelopes accepted.
Q). Does each DNA nomination, for each animal, enter them for the show?
A). NO! DNA submissions and nominations are SEPARATE from entering to show. You must first submit the animals DNA sample, then nominate online in the nomination portal. Official entry process occurs August 1 - September 4, 2026.
Q). I am a Nebraska 4-H/FFA Member, Do I need to submit DNA for Nebraska State Fair and the Aksarben Stock Show?
A). YES! You must submit a separate set of DNA and complete the Aksarben Nomination.
